Home dumbbell conditioning

Whole-body dumbbell circuits with shorter rests. Strength training helps keep muscle while you eat for fat loss; it does not burn fat from one spot. Pair it with your nutrition targets.

Reverse lunge3 × 1045 sLong step, torso tall, lower straight down. Hold something steady if you need balance.
Hammer curl2 × 1245 sElbow fixed against your thigh, curl up, lower for a slow count of three.
Overhead triceps extension2 × 1245 sLight to moderate load, slow and controlled. Feel the target muscle working and stop 1-2 reps short of failure.

How to progress

Progress by doing more work in the same time: first add a rep to each set, then shorten the rests by 5-10 seconds, and move to heavier dumbbells once you reach the top of the range with good form. Keep effort at about RPE 7-8.

Easier weeks

Take an easier week (fewer rounds, longer rests) if you feel run down. Fat loss comes mainly from your overall food intake, not from the workouts alone.
