How to do it
- Start with a 5 minute walk, then raise the speed until you can still breathe comfortably.
- Run tall with relaxed shoulders, a short quick stride and your feet landing under your hips.
- Finish with a few minutes of walking to bring your heart rate down gradually.
Common mistakes
- Gripping the handrails, which shortens the stride and throws off your posture.
- Starting too fast or too steep and having to stop after a few minutes.
