Steady running or run-walk intervals for heart and lung fitness. Log distance and time.

How to do it
- Start with 5 minutes of brisk walking to warm up.
- Run at a pace where you can still speak in short sentences; walk when you need to.
- Finish with a few minutes of easy walking.
Common mistakes
- Starting too fast and having to stop early.
- Increasing weekly running time by much more than about 10% at a time.
