Incline chest press machine
A seated machine press at an incline that targets the upper chest.

How to do it
- Adjust the seat so the handles sit at mid-to-upper chest height and press your back firmly into the pad.
- Grip the handles and press forward and up until your arms are almost straight.
- Return slowly until you feel a gentle stretch across the chest, keeping shoulders down.
Common mistakes
- Seat set too high or low, which puts the shoulders in a poor position.
- Shrugging the shoulders up toward the ears while pressing.
