Incline push-up
A push-up with hands on a bench, counter or wall, an easier step toward the full push-up.

How to do it
- Place your hands on a stable raised surface, a little wider than the shoulders.
- Keep your body in one line and lower your chest toward the surface.
- Press away until the arms are straight.
Common mistakes
- Hips sagging or piking up.
- Using an unstable surface that slides.
