Rotary torso machine
A seated machine that trains the obliques by rotating the torso against resistance.

How to do it
- Sit tall, fix your legs or hips against the pads, and hold the handles or rest your arms on the arm pads.
- Rotate your torso slowly to one side as far as is comfortable, keeping your hips still.
- Return to the center under control, finish the reps, and then repeat on the other side.
Common mistakes
- Twisting fast or using momentum instead of a slow, controlled turn.
- Forcing the rotation too far and straining the lower back.
