Cable crunch
A loaded crunch from a kneeling position that trains the abdominals through spinal flexion.

How to do it
- Kneel below a high pulley holding the rope beside your head.
- Curl your ribs toward your pelvis, rounding the spine while the hips stay still.
- Return slowly to the start without sitting back on your heels.
Common mistakes
- Pulling with the arms or hips instead of the abs.
- Using a load so heavy that the movement becomes a bow.
