How to do it
- Sit with your thighs secured and take an underhand grip about shoulder-width apart.
- Lean back slightly and pull the bar to your upper chest, keeping your elbows close to your sides.
- Return slowly until your arms are straight.
Common mistakes
- Using momentum and swinging the torso.
- Letting the shoulders shrug up toward the ears.
