Chin-up
A pull-up with an underhand grip, which brings in the biceps and is often a little easier than the overhand version.

How to do it
- Hang with palms facing you, hands about shoulder-width apart.
- Pull your chest toward the bar, driving the elbows down to your ribs.
- Lower under control to a full hang.
Common mistakes
- Jumping or swinging from the bottom.
- Letting the shoulders shrug up toward the ears.
