Wall handstand push-up
An inverted push-up against a wall that builds heavy overhead pressing strength.

How to do it
- Kick up into a handstand facing the wall with hands about shoulder-width apart and a tight body.
- Lower your head slowly toward the floor, using a folded mat for safety.
- Press back up to straight arms, then come down carefully with a spotter nearby if you are new to it.
Common mistakes
- Arching the lower back hard against the wall.
- Dropping fast without control or training it before you can hold a wall handstand.
