Standing leg curl
A single-leg machine curl done standing that trains one hamstring at a time.

How to do it
- Stand facing the machine with the pad behind your working ankle and your hands holding the supports.
- Curl your heel toward your glute, keeping your hips square and upright.
- Lower slowly until your leg is almost straight, then finish the reps and switch legs.
Common mistakes
- Leaning forward or arching the back to help move the weight.
- Using a weight so heavy that the standing leg wobbles.
