Lying leg curl
A machine curl lying face down that isolates the hamstrings.

How to do it
- Lie face down with the pad resting just above your heels and your knees lined up with the machine's pivot.
- Curl your heels toward your glutes, keeping your hips pressed into the bench.
- Lower slowly until your legs are almost straight, without letting the weight crash.
Common mistakes
- Lifting the hips off the bench to swing the weight up.
- Letting the weight drop quickly on the way down.
