Sled push
Drive a weighted sled across the floor for leg power and conditioning.
- Muscle group: Cardio
- Equipment: Machine
- Difficulty: Intermediate
Also known as: Prowler push, Sled pushing, Prowler, Skub med slæde, Prowlerskub
How to do it
- Choose a load you can move with good form, place your hands on the uprights and lean forward with a straight back.
- Push with long, powerful steps, driving through the balls of your feet and keeping your hips low.
- Walk the sled for the planned distance, then rest fully before the next run.
Common mistakes
- Loading too heavy so you shuffle with tiny steps and a rounded back.
- Standing too upright, which pushes the sled down instead of forward.
