Jump lunge
An explosive lunge where you switch legs in the air.
- Muscle group: Legs
- Equipment: Bodyweight
- Difficulty: Intermediate
Also known as: Jumping lunge, Split jump, Skiftehop udfald, Plyometrisk udfald
How to do it
- Start in a lunge with the front knee over the ankle and your chest upright.
- Jump up and switch legs in the air so the other foot lands in front.
- Land softly, sink into the next lunge with control and repeat.
Common mistakes
- Landing stiff-legged or with the front knee collapsing inward.
- Rushing the reps so the landings get sloppy.
