Couch stretch
A deep stretch for the quads and hip flexors using a wall or sofa. Held per side.

How to do it
- Kneel facing away from a wall or sofa with one shin and foot resting up against it.
- Place the other foot forward in a lunge, squeeze the glute of the back leg and lift your chest.
- Hold, breathing slowly, then switch sides.
Common mistakes
- Arching the lower back instead of tucking the pelvis under.
- Forcing the position when the knee or quad cramps; ease back and use more padding.
