Banded lateral walk
A glute warm-up that trains the hip abductors while you step sideways against a band.

How to do it
- Place a loop band above your knees or ankles and bend your knees slightly into a quarter squat.
- Take a step sideways, keeping tension in the band and your toes pointing forward.
- Bring the trailing foot in without letting your feet touch fully, then repeat for the whole set.
Common mistakes
- Letting the knees cave inward as you step.
- Standing up tall or leaning the torso to the side.
