How to do it
- Support yourself on dip bars or the floor with straight arms and shoulders pressed down away from the ears.
- Lift your legs in front of you until they are as close to parallel with the floor as you can manage.
- Hold with a tight core and breathe steadily; bend your knees if you cannot keep the legs up.
Common mistakes
- Shrugging the shoulders up toward the ears.
- Rounding the back and letting the legs sink as you tire.
