Glute kickback machine
A machine kickback that isolates the glutes by driving one leg back against resistance.

How to do it
- Stand facing the machine, rest your chest or hands on the support, and place one foot on the kick pad.
- Brace your core and push the leg straight back and slightly up, squeezing the glute.
- Return slowly without letting the weight stack touch down, then repeat and switch legs.
Common mistakes
- Arching the lower back to kick higher instead of using the glute.
- Swinging the leg with momentum rather than controlling it.
