Dumbbell reverse lunge
A knee-friendly lunge where you step backwards while holding dumbbells.

How to do it
- Stand tall holding a dumbbell in each hand at your sides.
- Step one foot back and lower until both knees are bent about 90 degrees.
- Push through the front heel to return to standing, then repeat on the other leg.
Common mistakes
- Letting the front knee cave inward or the front heel lift.
- Taking too short a step so the front knee shoots far past the toes.
