Dumbbell floor press
A chest press done lying on the floor, which limits shoulder range and needs no bench.

How to do it
- Lie on your back with knees bent and a dumbbell in each hand above your chest.
- Lower the weights until your upper arms lightly touch the floor.
- Pause briefly without relaxing, then press back up until your arms are straight.
Common mistakes
- Bouncing your elbows off the floor to get momentum.
- Flaring the elbows straight out to the sides.
