Barbell curl
A standing curl with a straight or EZ bar that lets both arms lift together.

How to do it
- Stand tall holding the bar with an underhand, shoulder-width grip.
- Keep the elbows by your sides and curl the bar up toward your shoulders.
- Lower slowly until the arms are straight again.
Common mistakes
- Swinging the torso to get the bar up.
- Letting the elbows drift far forward at the top.
