Reverse plank
A face-up plank hold that strengthens the glutes, back and shoulders.

How to do it
- Sit with legs straight and hands behind your hips with fingers pointing toward your feet.
- Press through your hands and heels to lift the hips until your body forms a straight line.
- Hold with the glutes squeezed and the chest open, then lower under control.
Common mistakes
- Letting the hips sag toward the floor.
- Dropping the head back or shrugging the shoulders to the ears.
