Cat-cow
A gentle spine mobility drill on hands and knees; good as a warm-up.

Also known as: Cat cow stretch, Cat-camel, Kat-ko, Kat og ko
How to do it
- Start on hands and knees, hands under shoulders and knees under hips.
- Breathe in and let the belly drop and chest lift (cow).
- Breathe out and round the back, tucking the chin and tail (cat). Move slowly.
Common mistakes
- Forcing the end positions.
- Moving so fast that it becomes a bounce.
