Machine high row
A machine row with a high pulling angle that trains the upper back and lats.

How to do it
- Adjust the seat so the handles are at about upper-chest height and sit tall with your chest against the pad if there is one.
- Pull the handles down and back, driving your elbows toward your hips and squeezing the shoulder blades.
- Return slowly until your arms are straight without letting the weight stack crash.
Common mistakes
- Shrugging the shoulders up instead of pulling the elbows down.
- Leaning far back to swing the weight.
